During Child Support Awareness Month 2011, child support agencies throughout California will hold events highlighting the importance of parents’ involvement in their children’s lives and the responsibility parents have to provide the resources their children need to succeed.
In addition to the services child support agencies have traditionally provided, such as paternity testing and establishment of child support orders, this year’s CSAM will focus on California child support’s new self-service enhancements that make it easy to make a payment, view account balances, check appointments and look up case information online, 24 hours a day.
Child Support Awareness Month is also a time to salute parents who work hard to make sure their children have the brightest future possible. The theme for CSAM 2011 is “Child Support—You Won’t Find A Better Investment.”
